    Excellent!
I look forward to seeing you both there clutching large books. Hmmm...what to choose... War and Peace? an encyclopedia? the Guinness Book of Records? :)
    see you tomorrow!

Well, we did it. The inaugural meeting of the Dorchester Book Group went ahead as planned. There were only two of us in the end, me and Laura, but you've got to start somewhere. We chatted about what sort of books we've read recently and the sort of stuff we like to read.

Laura has already enlisted two more people so there will hopefully be at least four people there next time. We will be reading "Wolf Hall" by Hilary Mantel and meeting to discuss it at 7.30pm Tuesday 29th June at the Poet Laureate pub in Poundbury, Dorchester.

Visit http://dorchesterbookgroup.proboards.com/ to express your interest or leave comments or whatever. Would be good to get an idea of numbers at some point before we meet up again.
